Hi Malka & congrats on your upcoming wedding!! I was pretty much expecting the cost of everything besides a videographer. I underestimated that one lol. To help reduce stress, this is what I did!
-Decided how much me and my FH were willing to spend, within reason, and including wedding donations from our families.
-Looked at venues and decided a style. The venue is normally the largest fee, so finding that first will give you an idea of how many people you can host, and what else you can afford!
-Get an excel sheet going. Mark down your expected price for the styles you like.
-Make sure you leave enough room in the budget for proper food and drink for the number of guests you want. CRUCIAL.
-Find photographers and DJ's, get a roundabout price for the style and services you want. Making note of all of this on your excel sheet as you go!
-Work down the list from the most important, to the least important.
