Couples getting married on August 5, 2020

Mine is August 6th! We chose this date because we'll be on our summer break from school and because at our venue august is nonpeak season so it was sooo much less expensive! Also our 8 year anniversary! Worked out perfectly😊💛

Ours is June 20th, we picked his day because it will also be our 9 year anniversary! My FH and I started dating in high school when we were 15 and 16! Along with this being a special day for us it is also my grandparents anniversary; unfortunately my grandmother will be attending in heaven. I couldn’t be happier with the day that we picked.

July 3rd is the day we actually met each other! 😊 We’re focusing on buying a house this year so our wedding will be next year!

We’re getting married August 1, 2020 and will also be celebrating being together for 8 years this year we chose our date based on what was available at our venue. But I’m excited to be celebrating 2 anniversaries every year now lol

We chose our date off my fav Ball Player & Fiance's day of birth and my fav number then i was like oh this yr will be 8yrs since we been a couple so 8.8.20 made since for us..

Our date is July 18. 2020. When our venue said they don't charge any different for peak season, my FH looked at me and said, "you know what my favorite month is..." It's July, he loves the 4th of July holiday. That decided the month. I love the infinity symbol, even have a tattoo on my inner wrist. So we chose the 18th bc the "8" resembles the infinity. 😊
Incorporated the symbol as our theme..on the save the date, invitations, cake topper, etc.

We were originally going with 4/4 since I loved the symmetry of 4/4/2020, but due to circumstances we've gone with our second choice! 8/15/2020. That will be our 2.5 year anniversary, and very close to when he proposed. It was a date we originally looked at but didn't want to wait so long for - seems like that should have been the plan all along.

Yeah, we're looking for the silver lining in that this was the date we planned around originally. We picked April because I loved the idea of a spring wedding and the date, but now we're waiting for what kind of feels like our real date.
