Hi yall!!

I'm wondering, do people make faces or try to get you to change your date when you mention it's going to be a weekday wedding? Do they ask why on a weekday? What's your response?

We're getting married on Friday and one of my co-workers was like, why not just wait until Saturday? I basically replied saying it was because FH and I wanted to. All the weddings I've ever been to were on Saturday. I wanted to change things up a bit!

Response: Because that’s the date that we selected. Then ask with a straight face: “Now, would you like to pay for a different date”?

Hey Karen! What's most important is that you and your FS are happy with your date. Those who are important to you will be there no matter what. You shouldn't feel like second-guessing yourself just because people question it.
As long as you give your guests enough time to prepare plans, then everything will be fine!!
