Couples getting married on April 25, 2021

I’m getting married on April 30th, 2021 and have secured our venue (did our venue visits before the quarantine) and photographer (met them before the quarantine at a wedding show, got a quote and dragged my feet on it until they notified me they had another inquiry for our date so we went ahead and booked with them!). We found a caterer we like and were planning on doing a tasting with them literally the week we stopped being able to go out so that’s on hold until we can do the tasting, but we will also likely hire their event coordinator. I’m also talking to a dj that I met when I worked in the industry and getting her pricing. Other than that I’m planning on doing wedding dress shopping once the stores open back up. I was honestly more stressed and overwhelmed before the quarantine! It’s made me slow down and take a step back from go mode since I have the major elements covered!

View Quoted Comment If you can, I would start looking at venues and see who still has your date available. With a lot of people needing to postpone their 2020 weddings the 2021 dates are going fast! But you’re right, everything falls into place in the end

We are getting married April 22, 2021 as a destination wedding in NC and luckily we started planning back in August so we have all our vendors booked and deposits down, wedding dress bought, save the dates ready, and now just using any free time to plan the little details, it’s fun for me so far so I can’t complain!

We got engaged Thanksgiving!!. We wanted to get married in April and I knew that was a popular wedding month, so we started planning immediately. We have our venue secured which was our biggest goal. After looking at 15 venues, we found one that fit every box. We were super excited to learn, they provided several packages from rental only/DIY options to fully all-inclusive. We decided on the all inclusive option which will be a HUGE help for planning. Our package includes the photographer, DJ, caterer, decorations, transportation, etc. I was honestly surprised by the array of vendors and options provided by the venue. I researched each and the reviews all came back 4.5+. I still have to figure out color scheme, decor options, attire and many other things, but the major items are taken care of....so we are set with our date of April 10, 2021. We wanted to make our planning as stress free as possible and enjoy the engagement.......so for us the all-inclusive provided us a 1 stop shop and instantly reduced the # of tasks and associated stress. Every couple has their own goals for their dream day, so good luck planning. Remember to breathe and enjoy the journey!

Hi Brandye! I think Liz is right, lock in your venue. Once you do that then things will begin to fall into place. My wedding is 4-10-2021 and we booked our venue in Jan. After I did that I was able to focus on other things and check them off the list. Happy planning!

Postponed our May 2, 2020 wedding to August 29, 2020 due to Covid now there was a fire at our venue and August wasn’t looking good anyway so we postponed a 3rd time to April 25, 2021. Praying the 3rd times the charm!
