I'm not the 15th, but the 24th 🙈... most important things are done, but need to do a design meeting with the florist, get my mom to order her dress, organize outfits for groomsmen, make final food selections, need to purchase out of town bag contents, and buy last minute things like chargers for the tables and a light up mirror for getting ready at the hotel. 🤗 Week of, we'll DIY the easier florals ourselves to save money, print and glue the seating chart onto a vintage gold mirror, make the table numbers using old picture frames, and decide what decor goes on what table (it's electic).

Congratulations! So much to do! DIYs are super fun and adds a personal touch to things. 😊 There’s so much that goes into planning a wedding, most especially when you’re the wedding planner, lol. I still have so much to do too. We definitely have to visit the venue again before the wedding date, so that we can rehearse. So glad we are only doing a ceremony! Wedding planning has been so excited thou!

I'm not on the 15th, but my wedding is July 29, 2022! We just finalized our invitations and will be sending them out at the end of next month. My dress is already purchased, though I have NO clue what to do for shoes and jewelry! We're meeting with our florist next month to finalize flower decisions, and apart from that, not much else for us to do right now (though I should probably start looking at shoes and jewelry lol)! How is your planning going? What's next on your to-do list?

Hi wedding twin! I am getting married July 15, 2022… I can’t believe how quickly it’s approaching! We sent the save the dates out and are planning (hoping) to send the invitations at the beginning of may. We have a lot of items checked off the list, but still trying to nail down music selections and the overall ceremony structure. What about you? Any advice? I think my biggest advice is don’t second guess anything after you’ve made your decision, otherwise you’ll drive yourself crazy, haha… but if it’s something you keep going back to and thinking about then it’s okay to reevaluate.

Yes!!! Hi wedding Twin!! Time is so flying and we are so excited to say we do! Same, mailed out our save the dates and in May, we will mail out the invitations. I still have to decide on invitations, probably will search this weekend! The invitations I’m planning to send out won’t have a return card, it’ll be RSVP on our wedding website. RSVP online is way easier and less problematic, as well as easier to keep track of guests. I still have to decide on hair and makeup…ugh. Lol. Advice: umm! Your wedding is your fiancé and your day, so you don’t have to spend extra money on something just to please your guests/family. Because, let’s be honest, weddings are expensive and we tend to forget about us and want to make it grand for everyone but us!

That is GREAT advice and so true! We are so excited to get married and I am trying to focus on that rather than getting overwhelmed with the planning (some times easier said than done, haha)! I think that’s smart to do RSVPs online, especially with how unpredictable the mail can be lately! I don’t know much about hair and makeup, but I will say getting a trial made me feel so comfortable with the entire process! I am getting married in Chicago and using Pin Me Up. GOOD LUCK!! And congratulations on your marriage! It will be here before we know it!

I definitely suggest the wedding website!! Older folks who maybe won't be so inclined you can just directly call, so long as it's not an overwhelming number of them. 😊
