Have you guys started planning? How far along are you with planning? When are you taking engagement pictures? When do you plan to send out save the dates? So far I have my venue, videographer and photographer. I’m booking our DJ this weekend. I feel like I’m doing things really fast

Hi!
You take engagement pictures whenever you want! You might want to wait a bit, though, and take them to use for your STDs. They go out 6-8 months before a wedding (longer if you have a destination wedding).
You are WAY ahead of the game! Go ahead and take a breather!

If you are planning to use your engagement photos for your save the dates, I would wait a bit. As PP said, save the dates are typically sent 6-8 months before your wedding.
