Hey Guys !!!
Just wanted to share a cute suggestion my Fiance and I are doing to pass the time and still have fun with each other.
So I put a list together from other couples plus some of my ideas of fun couple/date night ideas. I put them into a hat literally. And my FH and I take an idea from the hat 1-2 times a week depending on availability to do. Side Note we are competitive so it's a surprise to the other and we go all out. Some off the things are (paint night, movie night, massage night, tacos, and tapas- cooking competition, dancing, karaoke, game night, picnics etc.)
here's an example of our competitive nature:
This weekend he pulled date night. So he transformed the living room and had a table and chairs set up . (he actually invited my BFF and her Hubby I was totally shocked and so was she) I received a text saying babes be ready by 630 please and wear what's on the bed. at 615 my ring(door alarm) went off but I didn't think anything of it because I knew he was upfront . He text me again at 625 saying he will be 10 mins late and to arrive 640. I walk out my room at 640 there's candles, rose petals, and 4 place settings as I'm asking him who the other seats are our guest arrive.
The guys put on a show they were dressed and smelling great, they even served with white gloves on. My BFF's husband was in charge of drinks which were very good Margaritas and he also brought appetizers. My FH took over and served Dinner and dessert. BUT wait they took out my mini chocolate fountain they really pulled out all the punches strawberries, pretzels, marshmallows and bananas. the night was fun and we danced together at the end. it was my first time physically seeing them since Covid which in it self was special.
So since he invited them we decided my BFF and I will pull and do the next theme which is Game night. So amazon it is they are competitive freaks so we are doing Carnival/casino themed night in her basement which is huge. And because my FH and I are busy this weekend we have an extra week to make it over the top.
Hope this helps anyone looking for things to do. we decided we would probably keep it going maybe just 1x a month even after covid.
