Couple Shower invites before Wedding Invites?

I don't think your invitations need to be sent out necessarily. You just need to make sure that everyone on the shower's guest list will 100% be receiving an invitation whenever you do send them.

No. Sometimes shower go out first. This is why, though a shower hostess or group choose how many they will host at the shower ( budget) and what categories ( friends from school only, all friends, friends and family), they check with the guest list to make sure only those invited to the wedding are invited to the shower.

As long as your guest list is final, you are fine. The wedding invites are sent 6-8 weeks before wedding regardless.

As long as the guests for the shower are all being invited to the wedding, you can send them out whenever! FH and I just finished sending out wedding invites about a week ago and my mom started sending out bridal shower invites on Saturday. It wasn't intentional, just how things worked out logistically. My mom and sister(MoH) are co-hosting with my sister doing the majority of the planning. She's an accountant, so in super busy season right now and has been planning around her work schedule. If she hadn't been in busy season we probably would have had sent out the shower invites first.
