I want to do a country song for F/D dance, preferably an older one. Initially I wanted to do either George Strait, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, or Alan Jackson because that's the style I used to listen to with my dad as a child, but I can't find any of their songs that make sense.
I have already considered:
Baby Blue but it's about his daughter who died young and I just think that's too sad
Drive (for Daddy Gene) but I don't like it as a dance song
Cowgirls Don't Cry but again, it's sad as the dad dies at the end
I'm not a fan of Heartland or Tim McGraw either..
