Costco flowers?

Samantha, on January 3, 2021 at 12:20 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12
This has probably been asked a dozen times - has anyone used Costco flowers? Especially the 24ft greenery garland. I was thinking of long rectangle tables and the garland down the middle with some flowers added.

From reviews I read, it’s hit or miss. I wouldn’t risk it though...

Yeah I don’t want ANY risk!
My daughter, very crafty, says we should haunt the JoAnns sales since we have till Oct 22.
She and two friends are super arty and are chomping at the bit to do it.

I didn’t try Costco but I got garlands from Sam’s Club and they were wonderful!

Everything I have read and heard..and know a few who have used them..is they are great. However their flower section is very limited. Fiftyflowers.com has only good reviews and is priced equivalent to Costco so is much cheaper than Etsy/Joann/Solawood.

I got a sample set from Sola Wood and...did not do well at the dying. It was a spectacular failure!

Haven't tried Costco. Have had friends use Wal-Mart, Kroger and Wegmans and their bouquets turned out great

I love Wegmans, but our’s doesn’t do weddings. I may buy an arrangement and add some indiviual flowers and see if I can make a nice bouquet.

Walmart and Kroger have great bouquets too for a reasonable price. The flowers all come from the same place anyway, whether it's an upscale florist or Safeway, so who sells them is irrelevant. Save money where you can without skimping on quality.

I got bulk flowers from Costco to DIY the centerpieces and had everything else done by a wholesaler.

I liked that the Costco roses didn't have thorns. They looked nice, but didn't have much of a fragrance
I'm sure it depends on the supplier

I used the Costco garland for my small 7 person wedding in October. I scheduled it to arrive on Tuesday for a Friday wedding and it held up great. My mom ordered fake flowers from every store under the sun (Etsy, hobby lobby, etc and they all looked horrible in comparison to the real greenery from Costco (which was also the same or cheaper than most of the fake flowers.
