Hey guys! Has anyone ever bought bulk flowers from Costco? I am trying to save money in the flower department, and Costco prices seem pretty reasonable. I am extremely worried I would get the flowers and they will be dead or die before my wedding.

My grandparents ordered bulk roses from Costco for their anniversary party. They arrived very fresh and beautiful! If I remember correctly, you choose which day for them to be delivered. I think having them delivered the day before is best so they can fully open before the wedding, just be sure to keep them in water

I know someone who used BJs for a large birthday event. Just to be on the safe side they made it pick up that same (late) morning (for an early afternoon party) and had someone totally dedicated to the flowers and keeping an eye on them and setting them up, etc. they were reportedly gorgeous and people were so happy to take home the bouquets.
idk if that amount of dedication is as feasible with everything that goes on for a wedding. But maybe a venue could help with string water in vases?

A friend of mine purchased her flowers from Costco. I helped her put together the bouquets and centerpieces on the morning of the wedding, and they were gorgeous. No one would have guessed they weren't expensive bouquets from a professional florist.

I did once. they were fantastic. I picked them up on like 2-3 days before the wedding day so my friend-florist had time to make all the bouquets.

I was really considering using Costco or Sams Club flowers for our wedding. They have great reviews, and very affordable! I changed my mind because of how they flowers have to be stored from the time you get them. You have to be home and open immediately and store them in a fridge. So if you have the space or your venue does then I'd say go for it. Make sure you have buckets to transport them, too!

You were able to pick them up for the store? Online it says they ship them to you directly, maybe that is because of covid though.

Yes! My sister in law did the garlands like you have pictured and they were FLAWLESS! So full and fresh. Guests were SHOCKED when we told them they were from Costco! We're planning on doing the same. For hers, we picked up in store a few days before. They made it through a long car ride and were still gorgeous.

I know as I didn't want the fresh to die and I wanted my bridesmaids to keep their flowers, I ordered from Amazon. It was just as cheap and they last forever.
