Ours was $7800 for photography and $3700 for videography. The photographer is supposed to be amazing so I hope it works out.

Our wedding will be in Napa Valley.

$1,710 (I got a 10% discount, so it would have been $1,900) for our photographer which includes 8 hrs and a second shooter. $1,000 for our videographers which is a husband and wife duo for all day coverage, roughly 12 hours. So, $2,710 total for four people to capture our day. Not sure where you are, but we're in Georgia, so that may make a huge difference in pricing.

I'm getting married in Vegas, the photographer is $1350 and videographer is $1200. Vendors of the same level/expertise in my area/hometown are 2-3 times the cost.

We’re spending $4000 for photography (2 shooters, 9 hours of coverage, engagement session, and album) and $600 on videographer (friend of a friend who does corporate videography but is breaking into the wedding scene; not as important to us, hence the risk with someone less experienced). Orange County, CA

Just so you know these costs vary a lot from region to region. Where I live $3000 is the minimum investment for photography by a quality, professional photographer for the average length wedding and coverage. I found a couple talented photographers who would shoot for a little bit less but they were less experienced. In general, $3000-$4000 is a good starting point for our area, but you can easily spend double or triple that if you want multiple shooters, longer coverage, engagement shoots, or albums added on, and even more if you add in video.

Our photographer has videographer that work for him, so we got; 2 photographers, a videographer, 1 custom photo album, 2 (almost as nice as ours but no custom cover) parent photo albums, an engagement shoot and rights to all our photos for a little over 5k and we are in the Chicago suburbs. I think we got a great deal. We really spent on high end photo albums, that’s what drove the price up.

He was amazing with our engagement shoot and so fun and easy to work with I’m just SO happy we went with him. There’s a big company in the Chicago suburbs that’s just dominates (TWA if you’re in the area) and they were so impersonal, I’m really glad we went with a small private business. So I’d recommend to shop around for someone who is a good fit for you and your husband and take more into account than just if they fit in the budget.

General starting price can be anywhere from $1-2k, it depends on several factors ( education, experience, traditional or elopement, etc )
