I understand what the petticoats do, but what do the corsets do? Just hold your ladies up? Just wondering if the extra $70-$100 is worth it or not.

Would you measure the same way as you would had for your dress?

They also give you more of an hourglass shape. If that’s something you’re looking for I think that’s a good investment.

Yeah, they smooth things out if you have a little, ahem, extra around the middle. Not that anyone has anything to be concerned about, but some dresses are very tight already. It's just a little confidence boost as well as some modesty for when you're getting ready.
