Corset dress w/out modesty panel?

Thanks, SB I came across those as well. I'm not sure I like the halfway thing, so it really depends on how far the corset goes down my body I guess (which is odd that I can't remember that).

As long as it doesn't look like you have a butt crack down your back. If looks strange without it.

The other thing is I couldn't wear a bra if it were gone. Which could be an issue for me, unfortunatley.

I personally think that without the panel those dresses just look like they don't fit

Personally, I like them better with the panel. But that is just my opinion.

Allright, you girls have effectively stopped my train of thought in its tracks. And with good reason, I think you're all right. Panel it is I DO NOT want a butt crack back. The only time I've ever seen a dress without the panel in real life was on my VERY SKINNY friend. I, however, am not very skinny lol.

My dress is completely unembellished, and I love it, but I think I'm looking for ways to dress it up a bit.

If it closes all the way like the last pic then ok. Otherwise it looks trashy

I'm a fan of the modesty panel. I agree with whoever said they can look like they don't fit if they don't have one.

I like the panel, too. I made my corset back stand out by replacing the ribbon with a blue one. You can rock some great statement jewelry or an elaborate veil to dress it up a bit, too.

I"m pretty used to corsets worn without the modesty panel. to me they look strange with it.

but, it's up to you. how do you feel about how it looks, and will it bother if you blue haired auntie gertrude starts fussing at you for showing your back?

think it depends on what you'll be comfortable with the day of your wedding.

most of my guests wouldn't care, and the ones that would have a issue are the relatives I don't like anyway. So I'd probably wear it just to mess with them

I think it looks better with the panel.

@Aronna -- my guests wouldn't care. We're in a pretty liberal part of the country and I've seen it done before -- plus the way I envisioned it is like that last picture SB posted above (not too much skin). But it would take away my ability to wear a bra, which could pose a problem for me. Plus, some of the other girls' comments about the dress looking like it doesn't fit.... that's not the impression I'd like to give my guests lol.

I vote panel. Without looks unfinished and tacky IMO.
