  I think a strapless bra should be fine. I don’t think I would be comfortable wearing a corset under another corset type of dress. But if it’s comfortable to you, then whatever works for you!

  For a corset style dress, you shouldn’t need a bra. Your seamstress could add cups in if you want, but the lace up back should hold you in.

  The dress I bought also has a corset back. When I tried on the dress the consultant gave me a low back bustier to wear and I loved it! I plan on buying one and having it for my fitting.
