Corsage for sister in law?

isabel1115, on August 12, 2019 at 2:37 PM Posted in Planning 0 5

I'm trying to determine how many boutonnieres and corsages we need. We aren't having a wedding party so right now we have them for all the parents, of course. We don't have any grandparents attending. We also each have a brother and his brother is married. All these people will be at the head table.

How necessary do you think it is to give boutonnieres to the brothers? What about the sister in law? If we do the brothers, do we have to do the sister in law? I know we CAN give them to whomever we want but just looking at cost cutting options...

I don't think it's necessary unless you want to give them one. I asked my brother if he wants one and he declined. Unless you know they really want one i'd say it's something you can easily cut without anyone noticing.

I gave one to my sis in law cus she walked in the processional with my brother right before my parents did so it was nice to acknowledge them further. But it's def not a necessity

We did not provide corsages or boutonnieres to our siblings unless they were in our wedding party. My husband had his brothers stand with him so they each received one, but my brother attending as a guest did not.

I also don't think you need to get corsages or boutonnieres for the siblings!

Thanks ladies! We've decided to skip flowers for the siblings!
