Cool Religious or sentimental traditions ?

Hi everyone I recently saw a really cool wedding video where the bride and groom washed each others feet during the ceremony as a symbol of humility to one another. (Also represents the religious symbol of Jesus and a few stories in the Bible ) I wanted to add this to my ceremony but I feel like it may not be enough room for all of that in my church. I want us to do something symbolic and similar to this but something needing a little less accommodations may be better. Any suggestions?

I’ve heard of the bride and groom washing each other’s hands instead of feet so it’s not so mess.

I’m doing this & communion, I’m having my wedding outdoors so room wasn’t an issue but you could always just ask I’m sure there’s a way they could fit it. As an added my best friend is singing while my brother plays guitar, their both worship leaders the song is Alabaster by Rend Collective, it’s the part of the ceremony I’m looking forward to the most!

We're going to do a Unity Cross braid right before we exchange vows! And then we can keep the sign in our home as a keepsake

My bestie and her now hubs did this. It was sweet and worked well. Just do a run through at the rehearsal or before a few times and you'll work out the kinks.
