Convertible Wrap bridesmaids dress

Isabella, on July 16, 2017 at 3:21 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Hey beauties!

I am looking for the floor length convertible wrap bridesmaids dresses I've seen on Pinterest. I've found a few places but they don't have my color. I'm wanting a light, sky blue.

Anybody know where exactly to get these? They're pretty popular so I wouldn't be surprised if some of you have used them Smiley smile I've looked at Etsy but they don't have exactly what I want. They're super fun cause it's the same dress but you can wrap the extra fabric in different ways so it looks like every girl is wearing a different dress.

Thanks in advance!!

This is another way to wrap it so it has an open back!

David's Bridal has I think 2 dresses. I think the line is called Versa.

Also, Jenny Yoo has very pretty convertible dresses, but they are on the pricey side.

Look at Azazie.com. They have hundreds of dress options (I know they have a convertible dress) and they have hundreds of colors.

My girls are wearing this dress in a dark blue, but we got them at the LA Fashion District. Here are two links I found online, but I am not sure of their quality so definitely check reviews first:

I think I remember a friend had her BMs get them from an Etsy seller a great years ago, and I know they're available at DB.

I'd recommend having your BMs try a convertible dress on before you go with it, though. I've heard the material is sometimes really thin and that despite all the ways you can wrap it, it's not always the most flattering or supportive dress. Just make sure everyone is comfortable with it.

I would probably go with a site like Azazie and just have them order different styles if the mismatched look is what you're going for. I've heard the same as @BlueHen. They can be difficult to wrap and I've heard stories about countless safety pins being involved just to keep the dresses in place.

What @BlueHenBride said- have them try one on, even if you have to order a sample. The fabric can be very unflattering to plus size or large busted women.

Oh yes, ask your bridesmaids if they're ok with such a low back. As someone with a large chest, I'd be very concerned about the amount of support I could get, since you can't really wear a regular bra with these dresses. Even thin women or small chested women may not be all that comfortable with such an open back, even with the wraps.
