Convert crown to headband/tiara?

I’m sure you could convert it, just be very careful. How the crown has “big peaks” and “small peaks”, i would bolt clip it and remove a large peak, but leave what looks like half an inch of space so you can attach either the comb or ribbon depending on what you want.

Is the frame of the crown bendable at all? You mention it’s well made, my fear is if you do go through with it, might rest awkward on your head and not be flexible enough or comfortable enough to lay where you want it. Depending on the material you may be able to slightly bend it, but you’ll need to be extra careful that you don’t damage it.

Hey Tiffany!! Your crown is absolutely gorgeous, I love the style and colors. Personally, I have never done a project like this but I don't think it's impossible. Using the bolt cutters and attaching combs would be my first thought! This way you could easily stick the crown into your hair even though you have short hair. Another simple solution would be to play around with a few bobby pins and seeing if you could place the crown on your head and using bobby pins to pin it in place! I've done that with headpieces that were either too small or too large for my head.

So I took The plunge and cut my crown today! It was much easier than I thought to cut and bend! It’s fragile and needs tweaking but I’m excited! Don’t judge my mess or terribly thrown together hair (sick kids=hot mess mom) lol. What do you think?
