If people have a problem with it, tell them it isn't their wedding and then stop sharing wedding details with them so they can't input their opinion.

Sounds like an awesome idea! It's easy to let other peoples ideas change ours but I don't think that you should let anyone get in the way of how you see your wedding

I'm wearing Adidas! Don't let what other people say dictate something as simple as that! If it's your vision then do it. I personally love the idea and I went to a wedding a couple months ago where they did this and the girls were showing off their shoes all night long lol

I worn converses for the ceremony, reception, and after party. My husband worn converses for the reception and after party. You couldn't see my shoes with the dress I worn for the ceremony or reception, but I changed into a short dress for the after party. One of my husband's uncles didn't believe his wife that I was wearing them and he asked me about it when we were going around to each table to talk to our guests. He was very surprised, but he wouldn't have known if he didn't ask. I wanted to be comfortable on my wedding day. None of my bridesmaids worn converses as I wanted it to be something unique to us. We provided flip flops at our reception for anyone that wanted to change shoes. If you want your bridesmaids to wear them and they are comfortable in them then go for it. I will say some converses can be pricey so I would probably offer to buy them for your bridesmaids as you would be requiring them to wear a specific shoe.

I’m planning to do the same thing! Everyone I’ve talked to about it so far are loving the idea!
My girls are going to be in dark purple so I plan to get all black converse for them!
The catch to the plan is the cost of the shoes of course! I think if that’s your vision for your big day then run with it!!

I have learned to take things with a grain of salt. I'm very emotional and I have fought with a bridesmaid on the petty-est things, but overall it's your wedding and people are always going to have a comment to make one way or another! We are having all the guys and girls wear Van's, its comfy and overall makes cute pictures!!
