Converse shoes

Lindsay, on September 19, 2013 at 9:26 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 10

Does anyone know where I can get converse shoes embroidered?!?? I called converse and they don't do it. Every embroidery place I go to says that they can't put the show on the machine. Where is everyone going to get this done?

How do you know it's possible? Their explanation makes sense to me.

If you saw an image somewhere of this done, maybe it was photoshopped? I could see maybe embroidering a tag and attaching the tag to the shoe somehow.

Converse will customize their shoes with various colors and you can get a small amount of text either put on the side or up the back of the shoe - http://www.converse.com/dyo/design-your-own-chuck-taylor/135529C.html

We don't want the colors/designs... We want the date or names embroidered. I've seen them ALLLLL over the internet and I know that they aren't photoshopped bc my sister is a photographer and her friend did a wedding with embroidered converse shoes

Perhaps look into those who do hand embroidery on Etsy.

If the shoe won't fit on a machine, then it'd mean needing it done by hand and the price will reflect it.

It might also be worth looking into anyone local who does monogram embroidery for handkerchiefs, shirts etc as they may be able to do it.

It will have to be hand embroidered it is possible but expensive. I am thinking about doing this as well our ceremony is in the woods so thought blue converse embroidered would be perfect. I love your thinking Smiley winking check around for local seamstresses who do hand embroidering.

Have you looked at getting a custom embroidered patch made? Then you can apply it to the shoes yourself with probably fabric glue or a few stitches

If you've seen them all over the internet, can you do an image search to find out who posted them. If you can do that, perhaps an email to the poster requesting the info could lead you in the right direction.
