We are doing a speakeasy theme for our wedding, what were some of the biggest challenges and things that I should or shouldn't do. We have a budget of about $7,500.

PRIORITIZE! Think of what is most important to you. I have the same budget and about 125 guests. It can be done! I did almost everything DIY.

I think the element that will really make that theme work is, of course, alcohol. I'd put some cute signs on the bar, design a few signature cocktails, and let that be a highlight of the evening. I wonder if you could even look into hiring a fancy bartender who could do some tricks or improvise cocktails?
