Comfortably level

Chrisheena, on November 19, 2019 at 12:31 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 20
Ok so I have my heels for the wedding and getting my dress altered I tried them on all together and for a short period of time, I felt my feet tightened. Now I'm not a heel type a gal but I wear them from time to time. But I'm really considering ditching the heels and buying me some all white vans add some bling and pearls to them and whaaaa laaaaa magic 💅💜 so what's yall opinions? What did yall do for comfortably level? Flats? Tennis ? Or maybe nothing at all. I need stories ♥️

I have bridal flats. Super blinged out. I have bad foot issues and cannot wear heels and this was honestly an amazing compromise. The are bagdly mischka and they have had them on their site for awhile now. Definitely not a shoe that goes out of style

I bought a pair of blinged out converse because I can't do heels for similar reasons.

I'm not a big heel person in general, so I knew I didn't want heels even for the wedding. I'm planning on getting blue TOMS with "Mrs new last name" on them as my something blue!

I was thinking of doing flats. I think either way it's cool to stylish and comfortable.

If you want to wear the heels I recommend buying Still Standing. It’s a spray that helps keep your feet from hurting while you’re in heels. When I use it, and reapply around 3 hours, I can be in my heels for around 8 hours. I usually wear heels anywhere from 4.5-6 inches so this stuff definitely works!

I'm wearing ivory flats with pearls and bling all over them. They are comfy and I will be able to wear them all night.

It's unclear to me if you're considering wearing flats all day and having your dress hemmed for that, or if you've already had your dress hemmed for the uncomfortable heels and will wear those for the ceremony and then switch to the flats. If you're thinking of the latter, keep in mind that your dress will drag once you switch to flats since it was hemmed for heels.

Daughter knew she wanted comfortable flats, and her "go-to" shoes of choice have always been Converse, so she just got a pair in her primary wedding color and then we had them customized with her new name and wedding date at a shop that does custom t-shirts. The only time they showed with her a-line ballgown was when she lifted her skirt to walk down a few stairs to the ceremony space. If you're more comfortable in flats, I'd definitely make that choice, but realize it's tough to switch from heels to flats once your dress is hemmed for heels. Good luck! Every bride should be COMFORTABLE on her wedding day! Smiley winking

I'm wearing flats even though I love heels! I'm accident-prone and don't want to risk tripping down the aisle. There's so many cute bridal flats/sneakers out there if you're interested! The ones I really like are TOMS and these Kate Spade glitter Keds!
