Combined parents dance

My FH and I both don't really like the spotlight, so we were thinking maybe we could combine our father/daughter and mother/son dances to feel a little more comfortable. Has anyone ever seen this done before? Also, does anyone have any song recommendations that would be fitting?

    Ah i don't think that's a terrible idea actually! you guys would still have the spotlight just on the same dance floor, rather than individual dances

    I was in a friends wedding in December where they did this! It was super sweet and was still a special moment for the parents without all eyes being fully on them. They danced to “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.” lol it was adorable. Go for it!

    This sounds super cute! You could consider "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts - that's what I picked for my father/daughter dance.

    That's very common actually. Pick a neutral song from a father/daughter or mother/son song list that you like that works for both parents.
