Colors

Our wedding colors are light blue and medium gray. I'm making my own bouquet with fake flowers. My question is should I add a different color or no. If yes what color would look nice

A pop of color would look nice. Maybe yellow.

I agree with Cyndy - yellow and blue usually look good together! Otherwise, maybe a pink or a green?

Maybe add some white/cream flowers and greenery. Something along these lines...

I don't think you have to add an additional color unless you want to. I agree with Chrysta with adding cream / or white (but I kinda assumed you may have already)... If you want a "pop" of color, how about a soft pink or rose?

I agree, cream or white will be a nice pop, but if you want more color I'd do a light pink. Maybe like riceflower or astilbe

I think white would be nice in there to lighten it up more

I think white & cream would be good to add. I wouldn't add another color.

I agree with others that cream/white mixed in will be a good combination. How about an accent color with silver?

I agree that greenery (and white/ivory if you wish) could be enough.

Since your wedding is mid to late October, you could bring in some seasonal elements like this bouquet (this is perfect for winter but could work for fall too):

Maybe a bit of greenery.. It's recommended to decorate in colors of three. Depending on the season, you may want white or cream, and one flower that sort of pops - lighter or darker than most of your bouqet. I have found wedding wire has great photos for ideas, Pinterest of course, and Martha Stewart weddings online (free), also. Oh, and the ribbons that flow from the bouquet, I find beautiful. I'm thinking of a velvet one for my Autumn-time wedding, and I like when it's a different color than the bouquet. So many creative options! Good luck.
