Colors????

Google drive is how I stay organized! All of my lists and contracts and things are all in the Google drive. It’s been super easy to share with my mom and MOH and planner.
I took a bunch of quizzes online lol and I got the same colors on all of the quizzes. That’s how I picked lol

I have lists in my phone’s Notes app .. but I’m not that organized 😂 I would suggest google drive or some other cloud service to save contracts and make lists for your own reference and to share with anyone who needs to know.


As for colors, I looked at Pinterest ideas and whatnot but always had some color schemes in my mind depending on season. Think of what colors you like, what flowers you like (what colors they are naturally grown in), etc. do you picture a soft airy dreamy atmosphere - if so, probably lighter colors would do (pick your fave pastel or something). If you want more dark and moody, consider jewel tones. Is there a predominant color in your home or wardrobe? Just go with what you love and what will jive with your venue or ideal venue if you haven’t booked yet.

In terms of organization, we had one large google sheet that had everything from vendor lists and contact info, wedding party info, checklists, budget, guest lists, seating charts, etc and the month before the wedding (for our final meetings and day of) I printed almost everything and kept in a binder with copies of specific things to give to vendors at final meetings.

For colors, I always knew I wanted some form of purple and after my sisters wedding, I knew I wanted the bridesmaids to get dresses from Azazie, so I ordered swatches in every purple shade, I also got whites and grays and blacks to put together a full color scheme.

I use a special wedding journal- blank, but that’s where I keep all dates, vendor and payment info, etc… We only chose one main color. Burgundy. We are getting married this Sat, and we simply picked our fav Fall color, and incorporated it in where we could. We didn’t go overboard though, bc no one wants too much of one color.

Excel spreadsheet and a folder to keep all contracts together is how I stay organized.


Color scheme was a no-brainer. I always wanted to use my favorite color...purple.

I use google docs for a bunch of things as well as a handwritten notebook that way I have a backup just in case! I originally started with 2 colors but now I've added another after seeing a photo on Pinterest that I fell in love with! I'm obsessed with the burnt orange/ terracotta color which has gotten so popular, but also like a sage green and dusty blue because they look so pretty next to each other!

Organized: Lol Idk still figuring that one out!

Color: I picked the colors I liked then looked at Pinterest to see if anyone else had them and how they actually looked together.

I have a wedding notebook I got on Amazon (called My Wedding $#!t - it’s got language in it but that’s who I am) that I keep all our info organized in. I also created a binder with tabs for each vendor we needed and are using and put all their invoices in there.


I also use soooo many lists. Currently on my fridge is a giant list of what’s left to do (both by me, my fiancé, and together) as well as a detailed breakdown of when the rest of the payments are due, and a shopping list for the week of to have food and drinks and stuff as we are all getting ready on the day.
As far as colors are concerned - google what flowers are in season for your wedding date month. A huge money saver is using in season flowers and your color choices can be influenced by what is available to you. This was the advice my florist mother gave (or rather begged after my SIL chose very out of season colors for her wedding).
