Wedding is in August 2024. I’m a blue (light, dark, aqua, etc) girl all the way but so many people have gone with the dusty/pale blue and I want to stray from that. I want groom to be in black suit and so I really like just classic black and white (hints of some color, not sure what though) look. But I did recently see this idea of pale yellow… Thoughts on the classic black and white? Bridesmaids, groom, groomsmen’s in black. Everyone looks good in black so not worried. Going with the pale yellow, bridesmaids would be in that color, groom in black as well as groomsmen’s? Is Pale yellow a color that only a few can pull off? SColor scheme 1

I understand your concern about not everyone being able to pull off pale yellow, but I think it more depends on your venue and the aesthetic you're going for. I really like the pictures you shared and I think the yellow looks great for that venue. If you think the yellow will look good and match the overall feeling you want for your wedding, I say go for it! There are also a lot of shades of blue that compliment yellow IMO so you could still include a bit of blue decor if you wanted to.

I love the pale yellow! It's about what you want on your day. If it isn't everyone's best color that's ok!! It's a great color in general

If you go with pale yellow that color is going to look beautiful in the flowers! I saw some pale yellow petunias in Croatia that were absolutely stunning Smiley sexy

I recently wore a pale yellow silk suit to an evening wedding. It was a warm yellow (versus cool) that could pass for a soft gold and with modern accessories and my husband in his midnight tuxedo, we fit the creative black-tie vibe. I recommend requesting fabric swatches from dress companies and see how they look in different lighting. Neutral yellow has a slight white tint, and cool yellow a greenish tint. I don't think a person's skin tone and hair color matter too much unless choosing marigold to gold. For complementary colors, I would choose the same tone though (warm, neutral, cool). Some color options for gentlemen's attire and/or decorations are charcoal, wine, or if going for lighter daytime or rustic vibe, lavender, cornflower blue, or leaf green. Black suits may work as well for a formal look. I have seen color boards with black, white, gold, but I can imagine yellow as well. Good luck.

Maybe you could do a mix of aqua, sage green, and pale yellow. Azazie has this really pretty aqua color that would go really nice with that yellow color. I can't remember the name of it, but I'll check and attach a few inspo pics

I think that black is classic and elegant, especially if you're going for a more formal vibe. I'm no help when it comes to color - I gave my bridesmaids 4 options and told them to pick what worked best for them! I am also not a fan of the pale/dusty colors, but I found that Azazie has a lot of saturated color options. Ink blue and jade were in my palette if you want to look at some non-dusty blue options.

Pale Yellow is such a refreshing and unexpected choice! I believe that with the right shade and styling, pale yellow can be a universally flattering color. It adds a touch of warmth and cheerfulness to the overall aesthetic.

If you're considering pale yellow for your bridesmaids and even the groomsmen's accents, it could be a beautiful way to infuse some subtle color into the scheme. Just make sure to choose a shade that goes with the black and white palette seamlessly. It's all about balance!

Pale yellow could also go cute with lavender, peach, coral, or sage, depending on what you wanna do
