My FH and I had originally planned on getting married in August 2020, but we had to push our date out to April 2021.

I had picked out my wedding color scheme already, it was supposed to be Burgundy and Gold. Now, those colors don’t seem appropriate or fitting for the time of year anymore.

As a result, I’m trying to pick new colors, but I’m having a hard time deciding. Im torn between sage green and pale blue, sage green and coral, or pale blue and cream. And I’m still finding colors I like?m, but not as assuredly as I had loved the burgundy.

I think it's fine to have burgandy and gold in April. You might struggle to find the burgandy decorations but you could likely wait for them to go on sale this or next year and save them.

Honestly I think burgundy and gold are timeless together. As in, I don't think those colors are one season only type colors.

I love burgundy so i wear all year long (makeup and clothing)
But if you do want yo change it pale blue is a beautiful color 😊

We are getting married June 2020. Our color scheme has three colors. Lavender since it’s my favorite color, burgundy since it’s my FH’s favorite color, and yellow because I will have sunflowers and a few other small decorations that are yellow.

Totally agree!

If you DO want to edit slightly why not throw in a touch of dusty blue with burgundy & gold? It’s a beautiful combo. But if you don’t like it, stick with your original colors.

I think burgundy and gold is lovely for any time of year. Maybe add in some blush too if you feel like it needs a pastel color to be more spring-y?

I'm doing sage green and like a dusty blue color for my May wedding! But if you want to keep your colors, then you should! People don't really pay attention to if your colors fit in with the time of year.

I personally think your original color scheme is fine. Were getting married next October and our color scheme is more for the Spring. You can do whatever colors for any time of year.

Colors don't have to match the month. I'd stick with your original colors if you'd like, especially since in the photos you get won't necessarily reflect the month of the wedding. That's my whole take, anyway.

Use the colors you like! I originally thought that our colors had to match the season but decided to go with what we like. Greys & Tiffany Blue!
