Color for My Groom!

I would try to add the navy into other elements of the wedding as well that way it looks more tied together. Maybe add navy ribbon to the bouquets or navy napkins at the reception. Below are some ideas I found. You obviously don't have to do as much as some of them, but I'd definitely do something to incorporate it a little more.

Soo I had a similar situation. My fiance wants to wear a emerald tux. I waited to confirm that he really liked himself in the color before going too much further with everything else, because emerald, unlike Navy, doesn't go with everything. haha His other wish was to stand out. He doesn't want emerald anywhere else. Or at least, not much if any. The groomsmen are going to wear gray, and I made sure the bouquets and bridesmaids won't clash with him. But he wanted to be special. And I want him to feel special. So, we made it work.

RE: your fiance wearing navy. I think he'll look good. It shouldn't clash at all. If the other groomsmen wear navy too, great! But if he'd rather be the only one, also great! It'll turn out amazing. And him feeling handsome and special is really important. If you want to weave navy in elsewhere, you surely can. But if you don't want to stress over that, then I think you're still fine.
