Color for bridesmaids!

I always prefer for the bridesmaids dresses to match the groomsmen's ties so I agree with your MOH, but I think that navy dresses would look fine as well.

I actually like the color scheme that you listed. Especially if the bridesmaids have a mix of lilac and plum flowers in their bouquets. I would have your MOH in plum since it’s still a darker color and would pair better next to the navy dresses than the lighter lilac color would.

You could have the bridesmaids in plum and your maid of honor in lilac?

Make sure the Navy's do not clash, if they clash if will look very different and you may not like the way it looks in pictures. Go with the lilac for the girls just like you did for the accent for the guys.

Our wedding colors are almost the same! We have more of a theme, galaxy colors, but are sticking more to navy and plum since that is easier when searching for things. We're doing navy suits for the groomsmen and plum dresses for the bridesmaids. For me, both being in navy would be blue overload. Whatever you choose will be very pretty though!
