Color Confusion!

Danica, on July 16, 2019 at 5:03 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 6

Hi Ladies!

I'm getting married in Spring of 2020 in Sedona, Arizona.

My engagement ring is a black sapphire and white diamond band with the center stone being my FH's grandmother's stone.

I have naturally dark brown hair, but highlight my hair with 3 shades of blue (turquoise, cobalt and midnight) instead of blonde, and will do so for the wedding as well (as you can tell, I'm a little bit edgy).

My question is, do I worry about colors that clash with my hair, or do something that all goes together?

Thoughts?

Maybe pick one or two of your hair colors and then colors that accent with those. That way you're mixing and matching at the same time! Depending on your theme, that's really going to tell you what colors and shades you should go with.

I agree with Kaitlyn, but also have fun with it! If y’all really want other colors, no one will notice if your hair doesn’t match.

You don't need to match your decor. Color your hair however you want.

Hey Danica! Your hair sounds gorgeous!!💙

Personally, I wouldn't worry about matching your color scheme to your hair. It's part of how you look and I don't think that it should impact the colors that you would love to incorporate into your wedding.

Have you thought about what colors you would like to have in your color scheme?

Thanks! Out of all of the colors I have had my hair, blue is the favorite and it's the easiest to maintain with no fade.

I love the look of eucalyptus, creams, greys, jewel tones, and mixed metals (yeah it's a lot, I know).

My normal daily color for work I wear is black and/or grey, but my wedding is something different. We're getting married in Sedona on Oak Creek at Los Abrigados, with the backdrop being the red rocks and trees, so I know that the colors above will all compliment with that.

The colors that you have chosen sounds great!! Are there any particular jewel tones that you want to incorporate into your wedding?
