Color advice

Hi everyone. I am looking for color advice. I want our colors to be light and neutral / airy. I added pics of our venue along with inspo of table decor I’m going for. The decor items are greenery and candles. Sage green is one of our main colors alone with some creams/dusty rose in the flowers. Would black or gold accents go better with our venue? We have champagne colored chairs as well. The venue is neutral looking and I didn’t want gold to melt into the background. Also stupid question lol, but how do colors work? Like if the tablecloth is white is that considered one of our colors? This is all so confusing lol.
