Coconut Oil Pulling

itsdone, on July 5, 2014 at 9:28 AM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 12

I am doing it for the first time as I write this! OMG When I first put the oil in my mouth I thought I was going to barf something serious then I was like wtf is there this weird sound going on then I realized I had too much air in my mouth. Now I am swishing away and chillin like a ninja. I am doing this to get rid of toxins, whiten my teeth, straighten them a bit (I've read multiple reviews that said this happened to them), and see if it'll help my psoriasis. Who else is into oil pulling?

Jenna you take a tablespoon of Organic Extra Virgin Unrefined Coconut Oil and swish it around in your mouth for 20 minutes. When you're done spit it out in a baggy and throw out (never down the drain so it won't clog). It removes toxins from your body, gives your skin a glow, whitens teeth, makes hair silky, aids in weight loss, basically ahmaaaayzzzing. If you search oil pulling at earthclinic.com you get some really detailed reviews and experiences by people who have done this. It has helped people with serious health issues. A coworker of mine has a mom who has early signs of Alzheimer's and has been taking 2-4 teaspoons a day and the symptoms are easing down a bit.

I did it for about 2 weeks straight and when I went to the dentist I found out I had lost some fillings which they said May have been caused by the oil pulling. Supposedly since it pulls all the toxic metals and such from your mouth, it did not discern at from fillings? I googled it and there were mixed reviews on that issue. To be on the safe ( and cheaper less dental visit side), I switched to the tablespoon a day thing....much faster and a lot less gross.

I have extremely sensitive teeth and I do this several times a week. It really helps them tolerate the cold and the whitening tooth paste.

I posted this on FB to see who many of my FB friends do it and what benefits they've seen. I'm curious!

I do it and love it! The thought made me gag at first but actually doing it isn't as weird as it sounds! I do it during my morning shower every morning.

I've heard about this! Maybe I need to start doing it, I've been wanting to start whitening my teeth again.

I have heard about this also! I've tried baking soda and peroxide (not the toothpaste but actual ingrediants) with toothpaste works so good!
