Cocomelody Swatches

I ordered bridesmaid dress swatches from several websites a month ago. One of the websites I ordered from was Cocomelody.

I paid for my swatches from all the websites using Paypal.

A month has gone by, I have received all my swatches from several websites except Cocomelody. I checked the tracking, and it showed delivered.

I checked everywhere. Outside, all around the porch, the mailbox. The neighbors. Nothing.

I made a mental note to reach out to them to let them know the swatches were missing in action.

On Sunday I received an email from Cocomelody asking if I received the swatches and if I was happy with them. I took the opportunity to let them know they had not made it to me and I would like a replacement set if possible.

Tuesday morning I received a response asking if I had checked with my neighbors and called the post office. I responded with yes, checked everywhere. Still no swatches.

Wednesday morning (today) I received a response asking if I checked my mailbox.

Seriously? My mailbox?

I replied and informed them that yes, mailbox has been checked. I would like a replacement set or I will need to contact Paypal for a refund.


If they struggle to successfully send swatches and then resolve the issue of missing swatches, I cannot imagine ordering dresses from them.

I am sure other people have had success with this company. I, however, have not.

    Keep in mind that they might not be the problem. I had this same issue with my venue. The coordinator was trying to send me a napkin to show use to compare the color. There are so many different shades of purple, I wanted to know exactly what I was dealing with. She sent that dang napkin 3 times!!!! Not once did it make it all the way to my house. The post office sucks.

    She finally sent it by UPS, so she could have a tracking number. It got there in 2 days, no problem.

    In my neighborhood, we have really crappy mail carriers. They just don't care if they deliver something to the right house or not. My neighbors and I are CONSTANTLY exchanging each other's mail. Even packages, that are clearly marked with the recipients' name and address. So, it might be that cocomelody hasn't done anything wrong. Just keep it in mind before you completely disregard them. USPS is probably the source of your problem.

    I agree USPS is unreliable. But Cocomelody literally told me to go check my mailbox after I told them it had not been delivered. So, I am definitely Cocomelody accountable.

    I really just wanted them to send me another four swatches. Nothing major. I wasn't asking for a replacement dress.

    I went through the process of possibly getting a dress with Cocomelody and the whole customer service experience was so discouraging. I felt so uncomfortable with some of their answers and reasoning that I refused to go through them for anything.

    I ended up going through Anomalie. Way better experience and I'm expecting my fabric sample box tomorrow. Hopefully nothing happens to it. If I were you, I wouldn't even bother with them anymore whether you do end up getting your samples or not.
