5 ft seems like a lot to me, unless you wanted a whole bunch of volume. For the look in the photo, I would say 2-3 ft!

I'd do 3-4 feet to be on the safe side!

I’m thinking a little less than 3 feet each - there’s a garland I’m looking at on Amazon that’s just under 6 feet long and I’ll cut them in half! Thanks y’all

View Quoted Comment The set up crew didn’t end up doing it - apparently it looked a bit weird so they left it draping, with candles on top. To be honest, I know the tables ended up looking nice but I don’t remember them. My best advice - don’t worry too much about your cocktail tables. Keep them simple, no one will notice anyway.
