Cocktail Table Centerpieces?

SummerS, on July 11, 2015 at 7:48 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 8

I want to do something simple and small-ish for the few cocktail tables we will have. Does anyone have any cute/clever ideas? This will be my one and only DIY for the wedding...it's not my forte, but my mom is helping Smiley smile oh, and totally NOT into the ever-so-popular rustic theme, so no mason jars or burlap please, lol! Going for more of just a simple elegance...no real dominant 'theme' going on. Thanks!

I was originally going to buy some lanterns to go on my cocktail tables but then I decided to do mason jars wrapped in lace and ribbon since I already have tons on mason jars, I know you said you don't want that look though. What about glass cylinders with a pillar candles or pillars with water a submerged flower and a floating candle?

What about something simple like this with the flowers in your color? And the vase not as wide...

What I see the most are simple glass cubes or little bubble balls (dollar store has them) maybe 3-4 inched across with one big flower; a blown open rose, floating orchid blossom, sunflower or dahlia.

We are doing upside down wine glasses with a flower in the bottom and a candle on the base of the stem. I'm thinking of a set of 3 different size glasses.
