Cocktail Party Reception

Soon to be Keels, on January 22, 2012 at 9:07 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

Hi Everyone,

I need help with trying to figure out what kind of centerpieces I should have for a Cocktail Party Reception? Flowers don't seem to be right. What about balloons and lights? I am so lost on this one.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.....

Do you have a venue yet? Venue dictates how you will decorate it.

And also, could you please change your avatar under your profile to something else other than a salt and pepper?

It's being held at a Mini Mansion.

I am trying to find the right pic, the salt and pepper shakers are driving me crazy too. LOL

    Thanks, that's great :-)

Do you have any pictures of the venue?

You don't need salt and pepper shakers at a cocktail wedding.

Your venue is amazing. I would go with votives with flowers and floating candles. They are simple yet elegant IMO:0) Your wedding is going to be beautiful :0)

I would also go with a lot of candles, and perhaps some flowers. You can decorate the votives. Submerged flowers with floating candles are beautiful and inexpensive. Luminaries?

My fiancé and I are doing a cocktail party reception at a beach house we are renting for the weekend. We are buying lanterns and putting tea lights in them for each table. We are also adding a unique touch that shows our silly side with wedding theme rubber ducks but I doubt that is the direction you're going.
