Cocktail Hour Music -80s theme too much?

Sure! I think that sounds fun and will get the party going with your crowd I'm sure!

The majority of our music is 80’s and 90’s...,mostly rock and country.

I am also doing all 80s music for my cocktail hour! Cheers! Lol

No way!!! I love the 80s, and all that goes with it. I'm trying to cram as much 80s music into my reception as I can. lol

But seriously, I think it depends on the age group of the guests. If you have a lot of guests who grew up in the 80s, like I did, then your guests will probably be thrilled! For other folks, they probably won't complain. At least it will be a party atmosphere.

Giiirrrrllll it’s your wedding! You could play 80’s all night If you wanted to!! LOL I am a major music lover, so I’m going to be all over the map with my music. Some people won’t like country, rap, reggae, 80’s, 90’s....etc. but WE DO!! 🥳🎶

FH and I are both 51, so, unlike many of you young brides here, we grew up in the 80s!!! That music was the soundtrack for our lives. FH and I first met in 7th grade, and dated in 9th grade, and so those songs are all apart of our history.

I'm doing all 90s music myself (for after-dinner dancing).
