Cocktail Hour Flowers?

That's 20 people per table?
As far as flowers go a single rose or carnation in a thin vase works. Heck if you only need 5 total you could buy a grocery store bouquet do two a vase and have a left over one for your guest book table.

Is that really necessary? Will people during the cocktail hour really notice if you have flowers or not?! I feel sometimes people get carried away with what they think you need

That seems a too little, and a little odd anyways, skip the cocktail hour flowers. No need to stress yourself out over decorations that no one will probably even notice.

5 tables for 100 people is not enough. I had 7 tables for 40 people that were a combination of high and low. As flowers for the cocktail tables, this is up to you. We chose to have small centerpieces for ours that were not expensive but you could always just do votive candles or nothing at all.
