Cocktail Hour Centerpieces

Kevin, on October 7, 2019 at 1:23 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 4
Our venue has an outdoor cocktail area that will then also be the dance floor after dinner. Should I do separate table centerpieces for cocktail and dinner or just doing one for both and having them be moved inside for dinner and then have them empty for the rest of the reception. Not sure which one is better. Help!

I attended a wedding last spring that had just a small vase with one flower and some babies breath on each cocktail table and then more elaborate centerpieces on the reception tables. It was very lovely.

I decided to just put led lights with a pretty wrap around them. I didn't want a big centerpiece taking up the space on the cocktail tables.

I think small centerpieces would be good for cocktail hour tables!

You’ll want something smaller for cocktail tables as 1. Theyre a little smaller and 2. Lots of people use them to place plates and drinks on so they have a free hand— you really want to maximize real estate ton the table for function. You could even skip a centerpiece on them. Otherwise keep it simple. My regular centerpieces were 3 pieces, for cocktail hour, I just used 1 pieces of the trio (a bottle with a flower in it) so there was decor, but simple !
