Clutches for bridesmaids. A good idea?

Hmm... my location has a room /small office i can keep all my things in. i only have myself and my sister in my wedding party. (mom doesnt wear make up). i plan to leave my small make up bag on the bathroom window seal. no one bothered my things last time so i dont think it will be a problem. sorry i cant help.

At my venue they have lockers in the getting dress/ restroom areas that the girls can lock their stuff in.. I think clutches are cute to hold everything but I don't think they want to be carrying it around throughout the whole wedding.. I would want to store my stuff somewhere safe and when I need something I can go get it.

I was thinking of giving my bridesmaids clutches as well.. But I changed my mind because I was thinking if they were going to use them as well.. I ended up giving them pashima scarves with their names engraved of their favorite color and they loved them. But depending on your bridesmaids if they use small purses they may use them again.. I want to get mine clutches as well although I'm not too concerned with them using them during the ceremony/ wedding day but as a gift they can use later.

I was a bridesmaid last year and we were given clutches, it was handy for the day but I haven't used it since. I don't plan on giving them to my BM.

My dress has pockets. I think all Maggie Sottero dresses do.

I got mine Guess clutches. i don't expect them to carry it during the ceremony. We'll leave them in the car with the driver...if he can be trusted lol

I would re-use it because I believe one can never have to many of such things.

However, the idea would be wasted on my MOH. It's just not her thing. I wanted to do it and then realized it'd be pointless.

I'm also having two JB, but at 6 and 5 they don't need anything $$$.

I thought about getting one for my mom. She carries clutches from time to time so as long as I didn't get some crazy color she would find a reason.
