Do you have one? Plan to get one? What items do you think you'll want to carry around the day of, if any!

    I had a clutch, but moreso for after the reception when we left the venue for the afterparty. It had a chain inside so I didn't have to have it in my hand all night. All I put in was my lipstick, phone, some cash and my ID.

    I love all the bridal clutches and purses on Amazon, reasonably priced and huge variety. I got my silver beaded purse on there. Know what you want to keep in it before ordering and order the size accordingly. I knew I wanted to keep lipstick and blotting powder, my phone (which I didn't use the entire night, but still wanted it in there). I will post a picture (non-pro) of me at the end of the night with it in my hands (although you can barely see it in my hands in the pic) Basically, the best man's girlfriend offered to hold it for me during the ceremony, and after the ceremony she gave it to me. I kept it under my chair at the reception for the most part, but it did come in handy twice throughout the night for touchups. And I think it was a very elegant accessory as I was leaving with it!

    I got a dyeable clutch from David's bridal. With me that day I carried my cell phone, lipstick, some other makeup, and most importantly, my permits for taking pictures at the location downtown

    Currently planning on a clutch but I can totally see a situation where I get sick of it and start putting my phone/ID/lipstick in FI's pockets rather than carrying something.

    My mom gave me a white beaded clutch for lipstick, hankie, etc. (no cell phone in 1987).

    There's a place in DTLA that sales evening clutches. I go there every now and then to see what they have. I want one with some color to it. I plan to carry lipstick, lip glass and some mints.

    I had a clutch... I just had it placed on my seat, and kept my lipgloss and chapstick in it. You will need to reapply at some point! You could also put some mints, blotting papers, or your ID in there if you plan to go out after the wedding. I got mine on 6pm.com.

    I had a purse. I didn't carry it down the aisle, but used it beforehand and then put it in the room where we got ready, so I'd have it for afterward. I had:

    * Envelopes of cash for the hair/make-up person and the photographer.

    * A comb.

    * Car keys.

    * Driver's license.

    * Credit card in case of last-minute emergencies.

    * My phone.

    * Gift cards to pay for the reception.

    I had a wristlet. I couldn't imagine doing a clutch, I would have put it down somewhere or forgotten it or something. I carried with me my phone (some say to give this to someone else for the day but I didn't want to, I wanted to be able to get in touch with people and for them to be able to find me and it was a small wedding so I didn't have any issues), my lipstick, my powder/mirror, my ID and a debit card just in case, and a small amount of cash. I think that was everything but I might be forgetting something. I was so glad I went ahead and purchased something for the day. I didn't want to carry it during the wedding so at first it seemed silly but we walked around the area afterwards and went to a couple pubs and it was great to have then. I think it's worth having esp if you're going to be having an after party or if you don't have a nearby place to stash your things.
