Clear white lights vs uplighting

I vote for the clear white lights ! both are nice though

It depends on the venue. Some look perfect with white string lights, while others completely pop with the use of up lighting

I like uplighting but as mentioned, it depends on the venue and quite honestly the color that the person chooses.

It depends on the venue. My venue had white lighting but also used up lighting. Together it looked really great.

I love the look of white string lights but if the venue doesn’t include them, they’ll be expensive to rent (and have put up), or might not allow them. On the positive side, uplights are cheap to rent and easy to set up.

Up lighting is going to give you a lot more bang for your buck. They can set colors to evoke an entire mood in the room. It can be subtle (peachy rosey colors) or a wow factor (blue, purple, turquoise). I actually had a package that included both café lights and uplighting

It really depends on the venue and your style for decor and everything.

How about fairy lights? Or do you think that would still be too dark?
