Classic Car Rentals in Portland

I’m not in your area so I can’t say for sure, but I’m doing the same thing and here in Nashville it’s going to cost $600.00 to have a classic car drive us approximately 30 mins from wedding to reception. I think our minimum is like 4-5 hours though, so we are keeping it around for photos. To me, it’s worth it to get that vintage vibe.

Welcome to WeddingWire, Alexis!! Two questions here: which Portland are you near? The one in Oregon or the one in Maine?

If you only need it for a short amount of time, I think your best bet might be looking in your area for classic car groups that could use some monetary donations or maybe even asking friends and family if anyone would be willing to let you borrow the car for an hour.

Are you looking for any specific type of car?

Portland, Oregon. And I was just hoping something from the 50's, I've seen pictures of a white Rolls Royce from that era and it looked really awesome. How do you think I should go about finding groups, just google it?

Unfortunately that is pretty standard. We rented a '47 Packard for our wedding to take me and the bridal party from the hotel to the church and then my DH and me from the church to the reception (each was a 10 minute drive). Everywhere I looked had at least a 3 hour minimum. We really wanted this so went ahead and did it. We paid close to $900. But we loved it and got some of our favorite photos out of it.

My first instinct would to do a search on Facebook. Google is a good search, but I feel like Facebook would be a more condensed search. Where I used to live, the local group had a Facebook group and they would share pictures of their cars in whatever weather it was or if they got a new one.

If you don't find anything there, then I'd go to Google.

I am also in the same boat here in PDX. I want to rent a Rolls, but one place I can't ever get a hold of and the other wants $2600 for 2-4 hours. We are thinking about getting married at Timberline Lodge and then staying at the Sentinel. OR, we elope at Haystack, lol. I haven't found 1 place that even has vintage cars! Only the 2 Rolls, a vintage Bentley, and run of the mill limos. Wish I needed a party bus, those are a dime a dozen! I'll keep my eyes open for you though!

Just realized I didn't give you any real info. The white care you saw might haven been the Bentley that is with White Cloud Luxury Cars in Brush Prairie. From what I'm finding, the black and grey Rolls with Classic Chauffeur is no longer available for rent. The Rolls Wraith with The Best Car in Town was $2600. That is all I have been able to find.

Any luck with this? Did you end up finding a better option?

Would also love to know if anyone found other options! We are looking for some sort of classic/vintage car for our wedding next year in McMinnville, Oregon, and are not having any luck.
