Classic Car Rental in Ct?

Samantha, on January 25, 2019 at 11:13 AM Posted in Planning 0 5

I am looking to rent a classic car for myself. Does anybody know of a classic car (bentley/rolls royce) company in Connecticut?

Do you need it to drive off in or do you need it just for show/pictures?

I just want to be transported to our first look, take a few pictures with my FH and then I will get in party bus with the rest of the wedding party.

I don't know about places in Connecticut, but I hired a '47 Packard for my wedding in Sonoma. All the companies I contacted had at least a 3 hour minimum making the price anywhere from $900-$1500 to rent the car. My DH really was excited to ride in one so we splurged on this and paid $900 for the 3 hour minimum. We literally took a few pictures next to it before the ceremony, drove 10 minutes to the ceremony, took some more pics next to it after the ceremony, drove 10 minutes back to the hotel where our reception was. So we basically paid $900 for about 30 minutes of actually using the car. It was worth it to us and we had the money, but just wanted to share how expensive this was so you can decide if you want to splurge on it too.

Thank you so much! Your pictures are beautiful! I did not realize that it was so pricey since I haven't been able to find one around here....thank you for your info though!

Thank you, and you're welcome! This was the one item that surprised me when I learned the price! Initially, I thought $300 for an hour is not bad, but then learned there are minimum rental periods of at least 3 hours! But we got some great pictures for our money, lol! In fact, one of my favorites is the last one of us through the windshield.
