Hi everyone (esp COVID brides!)
My original wedding date was June 20, 2020. We decided to postpone our religious ceremony/big reception to next year and keep the date this year for a small civil wedding. I live in the NJ/NY area, so it's been more hectic here.
Originally, we were thinking about having a 50 person, 20-30 person, or 10 person celebration depending on what the government would allow. We thought things would start to look better in NJ by now, but it doesn't seem like it will be any time soon.
Now I'm afraid that even a 20 person gathering would put our family and friends at risk (especially because my fiance's brother would be traveling from Vegas, parents and friends with chronic conditions, etc).
Should we just elope to be safest? What are you all doing?
