Civil ceremony/ in laws

So I'm getting married.. civil ceremony only, we had already said it would only be us two n our kids(4)..
My parents live in mexico so can't attend.. and we agreed on not inviting his parents... why?? Bc when we i moved in with him( 3yrs ago) his mom said to me " I HOPE YOU DONT HAVE KIDS OR GET MARRY WITH MY SON"
(We are a blended family).. but we have a 6 month old bby... that has been un my mind ever since.. i did tell him but he just says to ignore everything she says.. around 3 months ago he did ask me how wouls would i feel if his mom was their.. and i said very Uncomfortable of course so he said that for me to feel comfortable nad happy it would just be us... but last week he came up with WHAT IF MY PARENTS WANT TO ATTEND TO THE CEREMONY?????
He hasn't told them we getting married and is already next week (nothing big really just to make it official)
He says that what if when he tells them. They want to go.. he already got married once and apparently his parents didn't know ge was getting married (it was bc the girl got pregnant) until they had set dates etc etc.. they didnt even know the girl yet until he told them he was getting married.. he even told me they weren't listed in the invitation as his parents..it was a whole mess... and well he feels bad bc he says that he did make his parents feel "left out".. I THINK is a whole different situation.. i tell him to just say it would be something small and we decided it would be just us and no one else...
To top it off a month ago his mom and i had an uncomfortable situation so we haven't spoken since then..
So idk what to say to him.. i don't want them their but i know he is not going to tell then they cant go
. Im guessing he will ve telling them this week..
I know is very long lol sorry but i got no one to talk to 😏😏 so i at least i can type for someone to read.. 😊
