Cinderella Carriage....in PA

Amber, on September 20, 2011 at 9:30 PM Posted in Planning 1 6

So i found this place it's called Bee Tree Trail - they do carriage rides, wagon rides. Sigh - I checked into cost for like 2 hours AT THE MOST! $750 for a cinderella carriage. They are close the Reading area and I live South of Harrisburg. So I know a lot has to do w travel and such but I'm soo sad!

You're not the only one. I wanted to rent one too and they were charging me 1250

You are right in my area! I know for a fact there are cheaper ones around here. Not sure it's exactly the Cinderella carriage but a beautiful carriage none the less.

I'm not being brought in, in a carriage. Too much work for me! Just the horse. lol

I was trying to google for you... and first checked out that place's website. They travel ALL OVER and make a big deal about their "famous" ties. I think you could possibly be paying for the name here, if you will. Personally, I don't think their carriages are all that pretty either.

Would you settle for a carriage that isn't a princess carriage? That should be a lot cheaper. I used to work with a carriage company keeping up their horses and they charge $150 in town and $350 out of town for two hours.

^Those are the type of carriages I seen. I love the Percheron too. They are such beautiful horses. Very classy for a wedding horse!

    ^Indeed!

Here's the CONA listing for PA: http://www.cona.org/Pennsylvania.html

Maybe that will help? I'm not really sure about the location since I'm in Alabama... but yeah. lol.

I am positive there are closer ones then that to Harrisburg. However that definitely gives an idea on pricing! LOL Right?

I am pretty sure there is one in Newville, PA and one in millersburg. I know I seen some in the local magazines I seen too. It's just way too early to go through them all at the moment!
