Church for ceremony in Houston Texas

Look up the chapel at U of H. My step daughter is using that and it's very reasonably priced.

Or Rice University... they have a beautiful chapel. what part of town are you lookint at? I am using the Bay Area Museum @ Clear Lake Park. It's a church from the 1800s that was turned into a museum. Very quaint and charming, but not for everyone.

It's quite nice looking and you don't have to be a student to use the facility. I believe you do have to get your own officiant though.

Oh also look into Hilton-Westchase , I went there and they only charge $350.00 for a wedding ceremony and it includes chair covers.

What side of town are you looking for ?

April J- have you ever been to the Unity Church? My aunt is a member, my grandmother was. They have a very nice small chapel, but main rectory is in the shape of a pyramid. Not knocking it at all, we had my grandmother's memorial service in ths small chapel. It's just not for everyone.

That being said, the female minister they have is a very sweet woman. let me see if I can find her card.

We aren't members of a church either. I just started googling non-denomination churches in my area and calling them 1 by 1. before I new it, i had tons of options to choose from.

Your main question to them should be: do you allow weddings for non-members? 50% say no BUT 50% will tell you yes. Once you get all the pricing info you can make a decision on where to have it.

@Mrs.Lesenski: Yes I have been there ! Actually my friend got married there last year.But she used the foyer area and it was nice.

@ April, like I said, I am not knocking it at all. I used to attend when I was a teenager, and the church is really pretty. It just takes some people by surprise. Still looking for the ministers name.
