Church Bridal Shower

I need some advice! I have a lovely friend and fellow congregation member that has asked to throw a church bridal shower for me. I have been a member of the church since I was seven and I love the congregation deeply. However, I could only invite about 10 members to the wedding.

Do any of you have an advice for this shower? Different name? Help!

A church shower is very common. It's one of those showers where a lot of people know they probably won't be invited but want to celebrate the bride anyway. The ladies of the church usually just want to celebrate and show the bride they love her, especially if she grew up in that church. I've been to several church showers where I wasn't invited to the wedding and I gave gifts anyway.
